Jim Morrison, Ray Manzarek, Robby Krieger and John Densmore former members of the band Doors but soon put to a stop in 1971. After Jim Morrison's tragic death after a overdose in a Paris hotel. The band struggled after trying to get a new man to replace him but sadly nothing morphed as well as Jim's voice did. So they disbanded in 1971. But before this tragedy the band was still struggling with bills and charges filed by the police after being maced by a officer. Morrison got arrested that day and charged for riot. Later the charges were dropped and Jim got taken out of jail and put back in reality. Raymond Manzarek February 12, 1939 – May 20, 2013 was an American musician, singer and member of The Doors, from 1965 to 1973 he co-founded with singer and lyricist Jim Morrison. Raymond was notable for performing on a keyboard during many shows and some recordings. He recorded on every track of The Doors tracks. USA Today consider him "one of the best keyboardists ever.” After Morrison died he took place in vocals with Robby Krieger. Robert Krieger born January 8, 1946 is an American guitarist that was a former band member of The Doors. Krieger wrote or co-wrote many of The Doors' songs, including the hits Light My Fire, Love Me Two Times, Touch Me, and Love Her Madly. After The Doors disbanded, Krieger continued his performing and recording career with other musicians including former Doors band John Densmore and Ray Manzarek. He was listed by Rolling Stone as one of the greatest guitarists of all time. John Densmore born December 1, 1944 is best known as the drummer of the rock band The Doors. He was the only drummer in The Doors past. Densmore has written successfully a author of two books on the topic of The Doors. James Morrison December 8, 1943-July 3, 1971 was an American singer, songwriter and poet, best remembered as the lead vocalist of The Doors. Jim Morrison co-started the band in 1965. Due to his lyrics,voice, crazy personality, performances, and the dramatic things surround his life and early death, Morrison is noticed by music critics and fans as one of the most iconic and influential man in rock history. His life ended in 1971 at the age of 27. The band also had a non-positive vibe they showed what they were against more than what they were for. Which gave them lots of controversy.Their style also brought controversy, with their long hair and distinctive clothing. In 1965 is when it started the band known as The Doors, founded in 1965 in Los Angeles. The band was signed into a 6 month recorded plan with Columbia Records.The band was started in a period of distressing time where drugs were being more frequently used. The drugs dragged in Morrison along with alcohol. And in little time he was showing up drunk at concerts and being wilder than any artist back then. In trouble with the law a lot, even with the host Ed Sullivan. The Doors did a performance with ‘Light my Fire’ and were told to not sing the line ‘higher’ but continued to sing it anyway. After this they were never to come back to perform again. After all of the performances and when they finished the contract with their recording studio Morrison decided to go to Paris. The former band mate, Ray Manzarek, thought that would be great for Morrison and his wife Pamela Courson to catch up. But soon The Lizard King (Jim Morrison) would meet his death caused by a drug overdose. The overdose caused a heart attack, then in the morning of July 3, 1971 his wife, Pamela Courson, found him dead. Some people today think it was all staged as he joked about faking his death many times. Do you think it was staged?
